Effective March 1, Market Participants with dynamic devices (generators and NERC transmission owners) will be able to view, update, and confirm data for dynamic devices or generators over 5 MW using a new application, the Dynamics Data Management System (DDMS). This new application will be the means for entities to provide accurate modeling information in accordance with NERC Standard MOD-032 Data for Power System Modeling and Analysis. contains detailed dynamics data confirmation instructions and references to related requirements.
During the month of March 黑料网 will make a formal request for Market Participants to review, update, and confirm data available in the DDMS. Confirmations will be due 60 days after the request is made.
In preparation for this request training for the DDMS will be available using ISO-TEN beginning on March 1st and ISO Customer Service can provide additional assistance if required. Market Participants may assign the role of Compliance Officer for the DDMS using the ISO Customer and Asset Management System (CAMS); the role in CAMS is "Customer Ticket Management / DDMS Compliance Officer" and can only be assigned by your company's Security Administrator. The DDMS system can be accessed via the SSO/SMD home page by selecting the Customer Ticket Management application.
Generator Owners who are updating data for MOD-026-1 - Verification of Models and Data for generator Excitation Control System or Plant Volt/Var Control Functions, or MOD-027-1 - Verification of Models and Data for Turbine/Governor and Load Control or Active Power/Frequency Control Functions, will be required to use the DDMS application make those updates as well.
