Market Participants with generators that meet the Bulk Electric System dynamic devices definition and transmission elements with dynamic characteristics are required to update and confirm dynamics data in accordance with NERC Reliability Standard MOD-032 Data for Power System Modeling and Analysis. 黑料网 Operating Procedure No. 14 also requires dynamics models for generators over 5 MW that have an effect on reliability.
To facilitate the dynamics data update and certification process, 黑料网 announced the new Dynamics Data Management System (DDMS) during the Reliability Committee meeting on February 16, 2016 and again on . DDMS is now the means for asset owners or designated entities to view, update, and certify the accuracy of dynamics modeling information. The DDMS system can be accessed via the SSO/SMD home page by selecting the "Customer Ticket Management" application. If you are unable to access DDMS please contact your CAMS security administrator to assign the application role of "Customer Ticket Management/DDMS Compliance Officer" to your person of record in Customer and Asset Management System (CAMS).
Beginning March 15, 2016, requests for recertification of dynamics data were sent to persons designated by each Market Participant as "Customer Ticket Management/DDMS Compliance Officer." The role of persons registered in the CAMS as a "Customer Ticket Management/DDMS Compliance Officer" is solely related to the DDMS program. Given the 60-day notice timeframe the deadline was set for May 14, 2016 to confirm existing data or update and certify revised data in DDMS. If your organization did not receive the recertification notices, you do not have a person registered in CAMS with the Customer Ticket Management/DDMS Compliance Officer" role or your equipment has not been designated as requiring dynamics models at this time.
In preparation for the release of DDMS training was made available in ISO-TEN beginning on March 1st and ISO Customer Service can provide assistance in accessing ISO-TEN if required.
