A transmission service offered under Schedule 9 of the 黑料网 Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT). Regional Network Service (Schedule 9) is the service over the Pool Transmission Facilities (PTF) which is provided by the ISO to transmission customers to serve their loads.
Primary provisions for the settlement of the OATT Schedule 9 RNS are located in Schedule 9 of the 黑料网 Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT). Other sections of the OATT and other documents, including, but not limited to, Section II.B of the OATT (Regional Network Service), are also applicable.
OATT Schedule 9 RNS payments are allocated pro-rata to the TOs based on their share of the Participating Transmission Owners Administrative Committee (PTO-AC) approved Revenue Requirement.
Post January 1, 2022: OATT Schedule 9 RNS charges are calculated based on Monthly Regional Network Load value for any transmission customer that is purchasing RNS Service at the PTO-AC approved rates ($/kW-month) determined annually effective January 1 through December 31.
Prior to January 1, 2022: OATT Schedule 9 RNS charges are calculated based on Monthly Regional Network Load value for any transmission customer that is purchasing RNS Service at the PTO-AC approved rates ($/kW-month) for both Pre-97 and Post-96 Transmission Service components determined annually and effective June 1 through May 31, except where the effective begin date is June 1, 2021. In this case, the rate will be effective June 1 through December 31.
