Below, affected ISO customers can learn more about changes to systems or procedures related to the Dynamics Data Management System (DDMS) Project. This project was one of several that 黑料网 has undertaken, in collaboration with stakeholders, for the continued development of the region’s wholesale electricity markets.
See Participant Readiness Project Outlook for more detail on specifically affected customers and systems for this and other major projects.
Project implemented: 3/1/16
Data certification deadline: 5/14/16
On March 1, 2016, 黑料网 released the Dynamics Data Management System, a user interface for owners of certain power grid equipment, such as generators, dynamic reactive power devices, HVDC facilities, and special protection systems to submit required data related to their equipment. Prior to the release of the DDMS, owners of dynamic devices, generators, and equipment emailed dynamics data to the ISO. The data was then transferred by ISO personnel via manual processes for use in equipment modeling, system simulations, and system planning. The DDMS provides a more timely and accurate means to manage dynamics data by:

CAMS |
Security administrators could begin to access the Customer and Asset Management System (CAMS) and assign the role “Customer Ticket Management/DDMS Compliance Officer” to personnel responsible for the submittal and certification of dynamics data. It is not a requirement that this person be an officer of the company. |

DDMS |
Deadline for existing customers to certify data in the DDMS using the Customer Ticket Management (CTM) application on the SSO/SMD home page. |
The ISO conducted online training and information sessions for affected customers to learn about changes and ask questions in advance of project implementation. Please consider subscribing to ISO Training to receive notices posted to the ISO calendar for future projects.
